No idea, nobody built them coomercially so far.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this mean that if we built like 400 more nuclear plants we could essentially get electric bills down to the cost of transportation, like water?

Thorium is another variable, but we don't actually have thorium reactors yet

No, because it would be expensive as fuck unless the technology evolved a lot.
The biggest costs of those things are related to maintaining, monitoring and doing everything else related to the reactor.
That's why Bechtel kikes are pushing it so much, guaranteed tax gibs.
