>>13384948Unless you're a full-blown narcoleptic it's nigh impossible to get access to stimulant-type prescription drugs in Australia. Believe me, a friend of mine used to be a legit narcoleptic (entered REM sleep maybe once a week if he was lucky) and he had to jump through ridiculous hoops to get his dexamphetamine script.
Doctors keep telling me to use CPAP machines but quite frankly they're uncomfortable as fuck and the stupid things wake me up when I roll over in my sleep and get tangled in the tubing.
So that leaves me with modafinil: god bless India. There's a whole bunch of legit clearnet sites where you can order modafinil straight from pharmaceutical companies in India. Ordering prescription drugs into Australia isn't illegal, as such. On the rare change that customs find it (something like 1 in 1000 chance), they'll just confiscate it until you provide a valid script. No script, no drugs, and you don't get charged for it. Your mileage may vary though, so check laws in your country first.
US$200 for x200 200mg pills seems a fair deal for not being groggy all the time. I went with ModafinilXL but there's a whole bunch of them out there if you do some basic googling.
I'm also gonna look at getting myself a mandibular advancement splint, see if that helps. Holding my jaw in that position makes my breathing feel smoother and more effortless, so I'm reasonably optimistic that it'll help with things in the long term and the modafinil can be relegated to a crutch for the occasional bad days.
