There's very little advantage. Upsides: you're forced to make it easy to launch and transport, can launch from anywhere
Downsides: rocket must be very small, need to maintain a rarely used airplane which is expensive

Assisted launch doesn't make sense until you're talking about building continent scale megastructures such as a launch loop or mass driver, and then you're severely limited in launch azimuth.

air launch does not help with reuse unless you go full dolphin sex space shuttle at which point that's just a normal two stage to orbit rocket launch with horizontal landing on both stages

compare the launch costs of Virgin Orbit's Launcher One to the launch costs of Rocket Lab's Electron if you want proof
then compare that to the bids that SpaceX have submitted for Starship Super Heavy
if you want cheap launch you need to do full reuse
eventually you might want to build an assisted launch megastructure across the entire Amazonian Jungles of South America but until you're doing that there's no point

Rocket Lab Electron is priced at $8 million
Virgin Orbit Launcher One is targeting a price of $12 million
Starship Super Heavy submitted a bid for a cubesat launch at $8 million

And it isn't available and this DARPA front has subsidies, who knows if they are reporting real costs. Or even lying.

In total, development costs were planned to be below €400 million with launch costs between €2.5 and €7 million.

No idea if this includes the air launch or if they can deliver this final price, the final price for some other similar companies was around 6 million USD. And it is a technology in its early days.

If this is going to advance, different technologies need to be tried and improved. Some jew wanting gibs and insane evil plots doesn't change this.

What is worrisome (if you aren't stupid) is the reason military and other jews are so focused in investing on this lately.
