close to 500 hospital staff received AZ 4 weeks apart

Symptomatic efficacy was a little over 80%

Of the symptomatic infections, 80% had mild, 12% moderate, 7% severe and 1% critical course of Covid

Of non vaccinated group, 37% had moderate, severe or critical, as compared to 19% in vaccinated group hinting that vaccination roughly halved number of people with non mild course

Secondary infection rate between non vaccinated and vaccinated groups were 27% and 10% respectively hinting that vaccination more than halves secondary infections

>12% of symptomatic infections in vaccinated group were reinfections (people who had covid, recovered and subsequently vaccinated but later got reinfected during the course of this study). All of these people had mild Covid

Why does natural infection protect better than the vaccine?
