>>13367063You don't need to make the whole island, you just need to make large plataforms (in the style of oil wells) that can hold a dozen meters of dirt, and put 20 meters barriers around it to prevent erosion. A few artificial ponds, beaches and some streams can keep the artificial environments from quickly disappearing. A few nature bridges, like those used to let animals cross roads, can allow the wildlife to slowly leave their disappearing habitat.
These environements can be built some 30 meters above the ocean level, which would protect them from even full deglaciation.
