ok i will bite fundamental rule of statistics would make the probability a 50/50 chance of getting a frog that is female as the gamblers theorem applies it will still be 50/50 no matter what.
Now the autist answer is that usually if two frogs are together it most likely suggests that it is a male and female and if that is the case as frogs would not wish to group due to attracting predators unless for this reason then it could be assumed that if it was most likely a mating pair with this particular species then 100%

We know at least one is male, and there are two frogs. So The possibilities are:
F1 = M, F2 = M
F1 = M, F2 = F
F1 = F, F2 = M
In total, 4 males and 2 females, 2/6 = 1/3 chance of survival.

Probability of producing exactly one croak:
MM: 2p(1-p)
FM: p
FF: 0

Probability of FM given 1 croak: (1/2 p)/(1/2 p + 1/2 p (1 - p)) = 1/(2-p)
Worst case there's a 50% chance, best case there's a 100% chance. Your chances of surviving are pretty good.
