I'm sorry to bring up another vax thread however it would appear that the reduction in covid deaths cannot be entirely caused by the vaccine. Winter flu deaths occur with definite regularity, hence the existence of the yearly winter flu jab for the old and vulnerable.
The covid vaccine was rolled out during the winter months when virus deaths are always high so now its summer, deaths have of course plummeted.
I do wonder what the death rates would have looked like had the vaccine not been developed. If nothing else, the vaccine has clearly had a huge tailwind of coming into spring and summer.
