Basically completely speculative. There is just an assumption things could work slightly similarly/somewhat modified compared to what we witness here on earth. Add a huge leap of faith on top of it. The thing with spectroscopy is that it’s much too complex in almost all cases to really drill down on the individual parameters like the elements involved unless we are talking about an extremely controlled laboratory setting.

You are wrong even to official narrative it wasn’t discovered it is alleged to have been an unknown line that was speculated to be sodium. It was Luigi Palmieri, who discovered it. The overall quality of the „publication“ is horrible.
