Obsidian.md is more practical for quickly typing up notes as it organizes your notes in a comfy fashion and you can reference other pages within your notes. Also, the TeX output is 100% real-time if you're looking for that. You can also simply CTRL+V paste in imagery, audio and video files which are playable within the software. But once I learned about Obsidian I got considerably less patient with LaTeX since the software is so much better for quick-drafting something that looks decent
