The also had FAR more leisure time than their poorer peers.
You see the wealth enables them to avoid non studying tasks like chores/work/ commuting etc
A poor kid with bbb is likely 140-190iq compared to a wealthy kid with AAA whom is probably 110.
In the long run... from 21-65 the poor but higher IQ kid is going to contribute hundreds of millions of pounds more to the tax base than the one who's parents spent 800k educating and subsidising his lack of raw iq.
