>>14403402>Which is quite ironic if you think about it, we have the easiest access to all informationModern society is the stupidest and uneducated in recent history. You might think this is backwards with the rates of high school and college students, and our currently modern technology like phones and computers, but in truth college is just "job training" that you pay for yourself, and technology like computers and phones have to be dumbed down and have expertly crafted "user friendly interfaces" so people can use them.
In the past, if you had to use a tool, you needed to know it inside an out. Well enough to replicate it from scratch, because you were expected to repair/replace all broken parts yourself. Today, anyone can use a computer these days but nobody knows how they work, or how to make them, or how to build one? You could hand people every single tool they need to craft a computer from scratch, and by that I mean bare PCB, chips, soldering tools and source code development kits, and nobody would have the slightest clue what that stuff even is, let alone how to use it. We are more ignorant today than people were in the past.
