Just a few years ago it was becoming more widely known that the pharmaceutical companies cashed out on the opiate crises or that many phamaraceuticals (birth control, SSRIs, antipsychotics) just end up getting urinated out, ending up in water ways to be drunk directly or used to fertilize crops which often pull up molecules in the soil solution indiscriminately. Most of the active molecules (90%+) in medicine don't even reach their intended site and are fated to end up in some lettuce somewhere.
It's honestly no wonder people think there's fifty genders. There's so much shit in food and water these days, not even getting into the shit that's intended to be there as preservatives or growth enchancers, that everyone's body chemistry is fucked beyond repair.
Now these pharmaceuticals have basically avoided all of accountability because now they are unquestionable "Gods of Science". I'm not even saying all pharmaceuticals are bad, I just want the ability to question or hold them accountable. Fucking nonsense.
