not to mention epigenetic factors and the natal environment are already known to have borderline lamarckian effects on certain traits.
if we assume that the leading causes of adoption still basically come down to poverty and by extension, poor nutrition, high cortisol levels in the womb, questionable water quality and not to mention any potential substance usage.

Most decisions of your environment as a kid are determined by your parents. Where they live, the opportunities they can offer based on their income, what you eat. This is all their genetic and how they played out in those environment.
