Meanwhile BOs lander will be shoddy rowboat capable of only landing a couple of T, cost at least 2b+ for each launch, with a launch cadence of 1.5 years and will only be ready a decade later.
So of BO gets funding for the development you'll have a vehicle that'll never ever be used and it'll just be the SLS all over again.
Even if they don't spend a cent on the development of the starship HLS they'll still buy rides.
Maybe Elon should have a talk with the ESA or JAXA
