I went all in on BTC around May of last year (close to the halving), 5x'd my net worth, and left my job a month ago. I'm planning on starting a Bitcoin mining business.
Bitcoin is still young and it always looks like you missed the boat because it's growing exponentially and therefore you will always buy around ATH's.
I personally only own BTC. Once you realize how the current economy works (basically one giant debt-fueled ponzi scheme getting worse every year), and that Bitcoin was literally invented to be technologically superior money, it seems inevitable that bitcoin will eventually take over. The monetary properties are what makes it valuable (scarcity, divisibility, fungibility, ability to take self-custody).
Alt-coins are a waste of time, and are solutions in search of a problem IMO. They often have unfair pre-mines, don't innovate much beyond bitcoin, or are hopelessly/dangerously complex (in the case of ETH). The main innovation of cryptocurrency is solving the money problem, everything else is just noise.
