I always thought the tests were supposed to be "no right answers, but the answers you pick will be judged in relation to your other answers and the question at hand, as a means of judging your problem solving and pattern recognition capabilties."

For many of those logic puzzles in one test, it does measure intelligence to pretty much the best we can do.

Amount of numbers you can remember has .4 correlation with income btw.

I didn't think to ask at the time, it was at a careers advice examination. The test was real though and I finished it in record time.

I think I scored 138 on this one and then 115 on the fsiq one but was a over 140 on the working memory/spatial IQ and got like 111 verbal or something. I don't think any of these translate real well to anything. My verbal IQ was probably higher when I used to read a lot more.

Also, I noticed with the memorize block positions and the find the distance on the fsiq it was just better to go on pure feel/instinct rather than try to actively remember or figure it out

Verbal IQ one is very faulty because it's basically very reliant on memorizing absolutely useless words that you won't see even in 99% of classical literature and everything worth reading. Anagrams suck for ESL's too. Real verbal IQ test is solving word problems and ability to write and express ideas well, but that is difficult to test accurately. Almost like IQ tests aren't an end for determining intelligence...
