I think he is right unless the AI is integrated into the cameras. It is essentially an application otherwise. They should be titled something along the lines related to consolidated network analysis. I am assuming the objective is something along the lines of target tracking across many cameras, like license plates or alternatively, triangulating locations such as from a gunshot in multiple microphones or cell phone transmission from cell towers.

"Consolodated network analysis" is much more word salad than "multicam neural network". Your idea is orders of magnitude more vague. At least with the other choice you know two things: there is a neural network involved and also multiple cameras. It doesn't take an IQ of 150 or experience with deep learning.

From a logistical standpoint, yes, they've done some impressive stuff. However, I would argue that all he's doing is transportation. Humans pretty well mastered transportation without Musk, and it remains to be seen if the electric vehicle is actually "sustainable". Some would argue not. They haven't invented an energy source. All those batteries need to be charged. So, big deal.

Millions of small inventions and innovations have worked together over centuries to creat the modern world. I'd say the internal combustion engine and the computer have contributed far more to human progress than Musk ever will. Just my opinion, bro....
