Not to be edgy or shit like that but I'm on my last year of university and my hopes are kinda being destroyed.
I had dreams to travel a couple places around the world, make friends, enjoy my life and one of my dreams was to have kids. boy, a daughter, maybe both. When I was a kid my father left so I grew up wanting to be a dad like the one that I never had

But with this situation, I just feel my dreams are fading away, little by little, day by day.
Everything is so expensive where I live and the climate change will only get worse. I feel like, if I have a kid at this point, is something selfish because I know that my kid(s) will grow up in a fucked up world.

Covid is here to stay. There are way too many cases for it to go away on its own and people don't care enough to properly quarantine or social distance now that governments went psycho when they didn't need to.
Only big change might come from the FDA approving the vaccines (rumored to happen in the next few months) which might in turn inspire more businesses to require vaccination.

TL;DR: Pretty much the same thing as what is going on now: lots of cases but people don't seem to care as much. Unless something out of left field happens (miracle vaccine, most/all businesses require vaccine, etc.) not much is going to change.

I am a mathematician/computer scientist and have no true understanding of virology, this may or may not be completely off base.
