Are we going to enter another dark age? perhaps darker than the previous one, before we as a human species become interstellar? If we ever were to reach such a point.

I study sociological fields and history in my free time.
We are where we are now because of an extremely small amount of bright individuals and a slightly larger amount of greedy individuals who profited from this.

Many people are not adjusted to this technological advancement nearly all individuals even those in more educated first world countries still operate on medieval like mindsets, just with more extensive knowledge.
They still act irrationally and fail to recognise fallacies.

It just seems unlikely to me that we as a species could make it beyond earrth even.
