Taking advantage of Mars' low gravity well and SH's megathrust capability as a result, would let you project WAY more to beyond Mars orbit towars the belt or allow you to do a direct high energy return from Mars to Earth with a single flight.
People forget that the distance from Mars to the asteroid belt is the same distance as the distance from Earth to Mars. A SuperHeavy + Starship on Mars means that you can put 100T to Ceres potentially with a single flight, because the thrust of raptors and SH is constant but dV gained due to only needing to account for 38% Earth's gravity is amazing. In essence, +60% thrust over baseline is insane.
