>>13502574I'm not getting emotional, I'm telling you what you need to hear because you're too stupid to realize how stupid you are. People who think like you end up in early graves for all sorts of reasons, from ignoring advice on basic preventative care to not taking the medications they're prescribed. Then, when they're fat, sick, diabetic, and half dead, they roll their fat asses into the hospital and complain because nobody can wave a magic wand for them.
Prior to my current job, I worked for a health insurance company collecting data on their members to help them save money. It was soulless work and that's why I don't do it anymore, but it taught me a lot of things. One of those things is that there's a direct relationship between routine medical care and chronic illnesses, so much so that private insurance companies (who are openly driven by profit and nothing else) practically beg people to see their doctors in an attempt to save money. The financial impact of this is so significant on their bottom line that the company I worked for offered incentives of almost $3000 per year if people did basic shit. Routine physicals, vaccinations, etc.
