If you were placed in the 'slow' classes, then you were effectively scammed off a good education and deliberately held back.
You should know your rights. The mentally retarded and disabled, here the people who score badly on IQ tests, are often the first ones to be discriminated and intentionally held back. This hasn't gone unnoticed either by those with more profound forms of intellectual disabilities despite the idea that they don't understand anything.
