G1 Starscream is bitchy, whiny, bratty, intelligent only in constructing weapons and tools, openly treacherous, and is generally a joke character.
Armada Starscream is much more of a tsundere, starts out kind of cold/misunderstood/standoffish, but becomes warmer later, not to mention that this is THE abused Starscream.
Bayverse Starscream is capable, loyal, a little pathetic, a little cowardous, but is the only one who never tries to usurp Megs and generally always supports him.
TFA Starscream is the MOST treacherous/dangerous of them. He is a liar, an egomaniac, self-obsessed, interested only in his own survival and success. He is by far the most "evil" one imho, he has 0 redeeming qualities.
TFP Starscream starts off somewhat capable, ambitious and treacherous, but quickly becomes nothing but a pathetic string of failures that culminates with him being a whimpering, simpering sycophant. This is by far the saddest Starscream imho.
IDW Starscream is a mess of a character, no one knew wtf they were doing with him.
TFO Starscream hasn't had enough development yet, but he seems to be pretty capable so far.
Skybound Starscream is a psycho, but possibly because of Megs' influence? He is the most unhinged and violent out of all of them.
I haven't seen Cyberverse, Earthspark or anything else really.
