I have a belief that women will soon take to 70s hair: extremely long and straight.
"Fat" is pretty accurate, though we'll see how it goes with Ozempic and the normalization of plastic surgery killing the body positivity movement, the trans population remains microscopic, and while the inevitable future of the US is a 50% mestizo population, it'll be Danny Gonzalez-mestizo.
I'd say a vast swathe of the human species since forever has had emotional disabilities. If you read old-timey literature, you'll find that ancient and pre-modern people had deeply strange attitudes and reactions, but most of them are just unrecorded. Observe your family, if you have one: how many otherwise normal people do you know are just impossible to deal with in their personal lives? How many stories will you hear about an old male ancestor who just could not control their anger that everyone just calls "strict" or "stern" instead of the more accurate "dysfunctional"? A lot of emotional dysfunction is everywhere, just normalized
>>3944876Only because of the constant failures of Western leadership. China is itself in a weak state now (energy, social discontent, housing market), but the West is in no shape to respond to it.
The US has largely pulled out of the Obama-era swerve to the influential Pacific to continue to meander about in the Middle East, and the new administration has been busy killing much of the nation's competitive research and hard/soft power exertion to focus on pointless domestic squabbling and outright corruption, and the combined West is now useless or untrustworthy to ally states dependent on Western assistance like war-torn Ukraine and the Congo.
With such a divided enemy, China could easily fill many of its gaps, if not for its wolfwarrioring making everyone deeply distrustful of it.
