hello.
i imagine my time with him. i recently bought baggy pants, and im off of any responsibilities. around this point, i would be with him. in his arms, speaking to each other. i dont need to have anything else. all i would want is just his warmth surrounding me, especially during these colder months.
i imagine another scenario. the wind is filed with harsh snowflakes, and every breath releases a small cloud of vapor. he parked a bit away, but its okay. almost to the door, it feels like my legs might just continue walking while my torso stays behind... i did not prepare for the walk, even though he did warn me of exactly this. where are we? where could we possibly go next...? a movie theater! we enter to the instant heat of the heaters warming us up and keeping the cold at bay. by the next door, the temperature is normalized, which still gives way to my shivering, but as all things, it will come to pass. we head towards the ticket kiosk... as he walks up to the machine, he takes off his bobble beanie. its grey and purple, with cross stitching holding every line together. he takes it off to reveal his silky white hair, but im more focused on the beanie itself. how every layer is neatly slotted atop each other, and there he holds it in a single hand. i grab at it to take a closer look, he flinches as i pull, eyes darting but head unmoved. authenticating me by sight, he lightly eases his grip and smirks as i pull harder on the beanie. i hold it close to my face. i notice it's pretty worn, and that there are bits of his hair on there. as we walk towards the concession stand he asks why i took it from him, i only said i wanted to look at it. im not really sure if he understands, honestly, nor do i. the room is large, with many seats everywhere and even a piano sitting in the middle of the room. i know how to play, but because i am too afraid of failure and the physical obstacle that shuts the piano cover down, i only imagine how i could play. it would be nice, though.
