>>3940338>the works more I drawing hard, the fewer people like itIt's always makes me feel bad when artists have one of these crisis. Xia single-handedly made me find Ratched hot, and I also love most of the Lackadaisy stuff, but I'm not much of a fan of the, eh, more "Syuro-like" pics. I can imagine some of those take a lot of work, but I just like what I like, not necessarily what takes a long time to draw, it's ridiculous to pretend that art is just as valuable as the time it took to make, and it's depressing when artists you admire get sad because they can't understand something as simple as that.
>>3940339Harmarist is a loudmouth, but I really can't blame him for being overly hostile. He's been banned several times already, he has to deal with stupid trolls every day, it's always a dick move to attack the people who are on your side, but when you've been dealing with insane antis for too long there's a moment when you don't want to talk to anybody anymore, not even to sane people.
I can't remember if I ever knew of any eastern artist who insulted his followers like that, but then again, most of the time I don't translate tweets because the translator on Twitter never works. Off the top of my head I remember artists who ended up giving up and leaving social media after being harassed though, I miss ffjjfjci a lot. At the end of the day, artists are only human, and there's only so much your sanity can resist when you become the target of cockroaches who think that ""protecting"" fictional characters who literally don't exist is more important than the life of real, actual people.
