My usual strategy is to sort by bookmarks since that often corresponds to how likely people are to want to revisit a fic after reading it. Then I'll look through the first 25 sorted pages. But hyperactive fandoms like Arcane make that strategy hard.
I have the ao3savior script installed for blacklisting on the whole site but I haven't updated it for Arcane related tags because there's not specific tropes I'm trying to avoid, just bad writing.
There's a certain popular fic that is very overrated but I shan't name it.
