Listening to the Johnathan Keeble audiobook of Betrayer make it even more perfect for me since he makes Kharn have an aristocratic german accent like a guy who'd no one can escape from his Stalag Luft in a WW2 film (I'm a sucker for Kharn sounding disarmingly polite when the nails aren't biting) and Argel Tal always deeply melancholic.
