Would be nice if the site could automatically convert them the same way it strips EXIF data but that's going to be too complicated.
Best we can do for that is find and install our own scripts or addons, but the last one I had stopped working. I remember reading browsers should be grabbing the source image anyway since webp is a container, they just removed automatically saving the source as dumb compliance.
