It's heavily implied Joker SA'd her there. I was into dc comics years ago and whenever there was Joker discourse in the fandom, joker stans always used the "it's just fiction" argument, and I get it, I guess, Comic! Joker isn't killing or raping anyone in real life, but I always thought it was weird that he had so many fangirls. A lot of his fans are victims of SA too, which was even weirder for me, but then again, many of Valentino's western fans on twitter are also victims themselves. Maybe it's a fucked up coping mechanism that they have.
