>>3864243I agree. Some mangafags didn't like the early changes but most of them made it better IMO. I preferred the more serious, mindful narrative of the episodes where Einar was getting sold as slave and eventually reached the farm. The manga chapters were way more comedic and shorter. They were fun, but I preferred the more serious attempt of the anime, especially considering the serious context. Some of the scenes had an emotional impact on me that the chapter was missing.
Loved Farmland before, but after watching the anime I adore it twice as much. Watching the whole thing within a "short" timeframe of just six months certainly helps too. Opposed to monthly chapters that I have followed for like five years or so.
