Bless Noda for sticking to the pandering. No shounen endings with sudden no name girlfriends, no "no homo" confirmation at the end, rather the opposite, as some characters like Usami, Koito and such got super gay endings. The success of this (and current series like Bravern) will hopefully once and for all show that gay pandering and gay characters aren't risky at all, you just have to do it right and have fun with it.
Nothing is worse than the corporate, healthy, educative gay content many western productions have or the insecure gay pandering of many anime that want the gay and fujo audience but are too afraid of delivering because gays are scary.
