>>3828248I admit I didn't follow what happened behind the scenes of this show, not that I didn't care but I just despise Gaiman. I'm glad I went into it blind because I would probably be disappointed about the lack of Terry's ideas you mentioned. I certainly didn't expect the entire season being essentially a backdrop for Aziraphale & Crowley's relationship, like at some point you could even forget that any plot was happening. There was just THAT much fanservice, and credit to the actors for pulling it of and not boring me to death.
There's definitely something fishy going on with everyone pairing up suddenly, it's probably got something to do with the miracle being extremely powerful despite not doing much... I'm not gonna lie, they got me good with all the emotional bits at the end, even thought at the back of my head I had a sign that said Beware of the hack writing this. You know I won't be surprised if season 3 drops and they suddenly backpedal on the confession because it was Metatron or God meddling all along or some shit, that's the level of emotional manipulation I think Gaiman is totally capable of
