I said something along the lines of "Gu Mang never loved MoXi, he always sacrificed him, never fought for their relationship, manipulated MoXi, lied to him and made choices for him until the end, so for me Yuwu is a story about one sided love for an idealized "hero" figure". So I didn't attack Meatbun or her fans at all, I guess even that was too much for some.

Like for example an item the can reverse death appears out of thin air and has never been mentioned in the story before EVER. Or gender change of one of the major characters literally for no fucking reason

The cult like fanbase doesn't help either. Unfortunately some of my favourite novels like Devil venerable for example have great and interesting plot and characterization but almost nonexistent romance, not even a fade to black sex scene, very unfortunate. That's why I just read first some plot oriented novel, then smutty one, than plot lol it's so hard to find both in one.
