And keep in mind, I say this despite loving season 2 and its ending being one of my favorite anime endings ever. Imagine how pissed the fans who hated the original content would be.
Speaking of Book of the Atlantic and season 2 - I just finished my anime rewatch yesterday and couldn't help but notice that Ciel's disguise early on in the movie looked a bit like Alois, and also his taped-up eyepatch was reminiscent of Hannah.
