I think it might be korean not chinese, that would explain the subtitles not being shit, as well as I thought the source material was korean not chinese, but also, I'm pretty sure it just can't be chinese because it's illegal to put undead in media in china, unless hongkong is exempt from that which wouldn't surprise me, and is where I think it was animated
