What happened? Don't tell me if you don't want to; I can only feign an intellectual sympathy rather than a visceral one, and the principal motivating factor to my asking is curiosity. It makes me sad. I really think the world make me decent, or at least actually bearable, if we could have a single person in whom we could invest an absolute trust. But that's not our world.
