>>3781956>>3782040Yeah, I was kidding with that one but you got it right. I don't know how to elaborate properly but the events of part 2 feel so disconnected and poorly tied from each other(? that the narrative and plot ends up as a mess.
It seems to me that Fuji only just has in mind two things, 1. the theme (moral, justice) 2. specific moments (few scenes in mind, future twists etc) and he clearly is making up shit as he goes with no clear continuity of events in order to showcase those ""kino"" moments while copying every romcom cliche from every animanga series. It's not even worth following it for the characters. Asa's sole purpose now is to be in love with incel mc and it seems Fuji has nothing more to say about Asa so her arc feels dragged out and isn't even interesting or fun to read because her pov is boring.
And as you say, the prospect of a social misfit chaotic character trying to adjust to a school environment while raising a little girl (devil) would be very interesting to see but Fujimoto just skipped all of that and actually on second thought, part 2 barely feels like an "school arc" seems more like an excuse for Fuji to draw JK girls and characters with the same uniform and not rack his brains over character designs. Either way the fandom will go bonkers over Nayuta being just Makima 2.0 (now with black hair and obsessed with Denji, instead of csm) and more dumb tsun misunderstanding romance whose execution is not interesting at all.
