>>3755298You know, as a newfag I'm kinda sad that I got into Vocaloid too late. I got interested in Vocaloid in 2020 but everyone else my age got into it around 2011-2013, those were the years when the Vocaloid phenomenon peaked in popularity, at least from how I remember it. During those years I wasn't even a weeb yet, I was a Japan hater, I hated Vocaloid, anime, etc. so I missed so many wonderful songs. Rolling Girl, Electric Angel, Luvoratory, Remote Control, Butterfly in your shoulder... It took me many years to learn about these songs and understand why they are so precious.
To me all this feels like wanting to go to a party but then when you finally get in the party you find out the party is over and no one is left, you missed all the fun, you missed all the opportunities to find new people and make friends who share same interests and hobbies as you, you missed the opportunity to make many precious memories, you missed the party... This is how it feels to get into Vocaloid too late.
