>>3757589>>3757788>I don't understand why bumping isn't working....Threads on /cm/ stop bumping after they reach 310 replies, and this thread has over 330.
>>3757642>do you think these threads should lay low until the dust clears? This is the best course of action. Give time until trolls get fixated on a different controversy and only people actually looking for Bridget remain.
>>3757797>the MODS are trying to put a stop to it due to how the threads basically becoming a flame war on occasionFixed. Other Bridget threads have been manually archived by mods as soon as they hit the bump limit and even deleted due to how bad has been the infighting since Bridget was announced as a DLC character. Mods don't seem to know how to proceed in this situation (they ban and delete obvious "BRIDGET IS TRANS LOLE" trolls, but text posts with actual effort are left up) and probably simply are expecting that everyone forgets about it and anons continue making silent image dumps or stop making Bridget threads altogether.
>I think we MAY have to a new one in either a few days or a few weeks or maybe moreGiving Bridget and /cm/ a rest for few weeks would be the best action. Best case, most trolls disappear and Bridget threads become usable again. Worst case, Bridget becomes a "soft banned" character that nobody wants to post in /cm/ or any other small imagedump board due to the drama surrounding the character (like Lily Hoshikawa, another character that is never posted alone on /c/ or /cm/ for being trans and not "fully belonging" in either board), leaving /v/eddit as the only place to post and talk about the character.
