he even left miquella after he rejected him the first time and contacted the formless mother... nobody seems to think that miquella's affection abilities could have got to him, or that the formless mother manipulated him to kill an empyrean enemy... he was literally trying to help miquella by taking away his curse and raise him to full godhood and he wanted to be HIS consort... but everyone says that the mohgwyn dynasty is just some super-evil depraved power grab or that he doesn't even really love miquella...
he literally has a cut line crying about miquella abandoning him...
