It's all over the place in terms of quality, you've got some episodes that have great animation, and some episodes where there's slideshow tier stuff (particularly in the backgrounds). The story also goes in one direction in the first season and then veers into something pretty different in the second, and people seem to either love it or hate it.

Sort of: but that couple i posted is canonically and overtly gay.
The show is full of men. So many shirtless men.
Honestly, there are better Gundam shows, but if you're in it for the boys, IBO is def worth a watch.
