>>3652497Read the original 1972 manga and then watch the two OVA's. The original manga is short, five volumes, and one of those really influential works when it comes to Japanese media. There's also Shin Devilman, some side stories but comes along with most reprints of the original manga.
Then watch the 1987 and 1990 OVA's, they adapt the first two volumes, but never finished the whole series, I think the director died. Still, the art and animation is fantastic and it's the first Devilman material I touched. There's the Amon OVA that came in 2000, has a different art style, and slightly picks up the story but ends before the final confrontation.
After that, go buck wild, there's related manga and media I still need to touch.
