Crow teases the hell out of Seto when they first meet, pretty much bullying him. When things calm down, Crow gives him a ring and then kisses him, saying he read it in a book that friends kiss each other.
Basically he essentially just used the concept of marriage to show his friendship with Seto not knowing the true meaning behind it.
