>>3621292That's one issue from the show, the self love thing. I know what comics they were referencing, or specifically, the comic. But that was him loving and forgiving a future version of himself that became a homicidal tyrant of Asgard that went so far as burning everyone to death in front of Thor. That's really loving yourself despite yourself and saying "I can and will do better." The self love metaphor they were going for in the show was really just muddled by the "broken man needs a woman to fix him" trope, so much so, a lot of people forgot that Mobius was the one that fixed Loki, not Sylvie. And, despite the main romance, all the writers have said this too. That was the point of Sylvie and Loki not seeing eye to eye at the end. He changed, she couldn't.
You'd think with that ending, it would actually be a good set up for Loki to go on a Mobius Quest and try to get back to the original TVA, and then you could explore Mobius as a character through his many variants Loki will bump into, since you know, he hardly got any exposition himself and he really needs it. But who knows. It seems like S2 is going to change out the whole crew, new director, new writers, everything.
