>>3612327Truth be told I wasn't planning on playing it either when people first started talking about it back on January. I was convinced that the "psychological horror" genre of the game was too much of an impediment for me get into it (Plus I don't like seeing depictions of little boys bloodied or killed).
So instead I decided to read up the story on the wiki, and after a bit I felt like I wanted to experience it firsthand because reading it wasn't enough. I also wanted to see just how much there was of Basil in the game seeing as he was the main driving force of the whole story.
In the end I wouldn't say I disliked playing it, I felt quite delved in, but I wouldn't really replay it, least of all the Hikki route, which sucks away all the main reasons why I even wanted to play it in the first place.
All in all, the boys are cute and that's all that matters.
