>>3596656>The boys in this game look cuteYes.
>is the game worth playingShort answer no, long answer yes.
>How's the gameplayAbysmal, unless you really love boring games. I, personally, love boring games. It's my favorite game, especially when I want to keep my hands busy but I'm focused on something else.
>and is it a gachaShort answer yes, long answer no. There are a lot of rng elements, but whaling is completely unnecessary. If you put in the time consistently, you will never spend real money on the 'gacha' elements.
>Any way to get specific characters, or is there a lot of randomness involved? Both. rng is involved in about 70% of acquiring swords, but events almost always have guaranteed characters, and sword smithing can be manipulated by resource recipes. If there is a character you want, I promise you will be able to get them if you put in the time to actually play and gain resources or train your swords. Or if you just wait for the annual freebie sword giveaways.
Tbh the game mostly appeals to historyfags and people who enjoy collecting. I enjoy it as someone who likes historical fiction and games where you don't have to focus hard to make progress. The best story and character content come from the live action adaptations, but the characterizations in the game are, in my opinion, interesting for how few lines there are. Come for cute boys, stay for historical trauma, tolerate mindless grinding while doing other things.
