PSO2 lets you make cute little boys instead of forcing you into men only, which is nice. It's definitely a game that caters hard towards male otaku and basement-dwelling neckbeards as far as outfits and gear go, but that's par for the course for F2P MMOs.
It's an old game and it shows in a lot of ways so hopefully the revamp coming out next year is worth the wait. They went through the trouble of highlighting that models have individual finger movements in the new one so that's something at least.
