>>3498202>Is the series any good?Investigations games are my favorites of all Ace Attorneys, so yes, both are good to me.
Now, objetively speaking, there are some faggots that say AAI1 is one of the worst just behind AJ (wich is ineed the worst by far), I don't think so but I admit the writing is not as good as the original trilogy, there are two boring cases (I like they put the pleb filter just at the start tho) and just like AP the "final culprit" and last case feel kinda forced and lame. But I1 -at difference-, has really good cases and the changes in gameplay were the most enjoyable part. Even though, I think for most people it is also because of this they don't like it that much; It kinda feels different from the main series...
Some changes is that you go from a standard visual novel/point n' click to a most movable (?) more or less-3rd person game and... >Do we take the prosecutor's stand in court? No, this is the major change, there is no court part, the games focus on the investigations at the crime scene and just like the main games, in this you basically defent an innocent suspect while looking for the real culprit, you also confront 'your rival' and realize cross-examinations.
>Is there a way I can play AAI2 in English without emulating it?No official relese so no, BUT Investigations 2 is a goddamn jewel. It takes all that the others (even original trilogy itself) did bad and make it amazingly good, the writing gets miles better and interconnects all the cases successfully and the logic chess coss-examination is the best addition in gameplay. It really does not have flaws and whether you like Edgeworth or not it's the best fucking game in the entire franchise.
Final veredict: AAI2>T&T>>PW>SoJ>AAI1>JfA>DD>>>>>>>>AAonline>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AJ
(Still have to play DGS and PLvsPW)
