>>3464669>Chie routeI was also considering a Chie Route, since some players might wanna date a girl
character. Of course, breaking that glass ceiling would open up the possibility of routes
for Mori and Sango and what the hell, Sasaki. No idea how the hell that last one would
even begin to go. Mori and Sango are actually kinda simple to conceptualize - if a little
unappealing, as I personally find them not that interesting. Mind, this is almost a fujo
comic, so the girls are naturally gonna be a bit handicapped. I suspect Sango may
even be a self-insert, either for Mad or the reader. The heck is the point of having your
self-insert date ANOTHER self-insert?
Chie, though, I'm unsure how she can even be made a dateable option.
For Jiro's character dev, It HAS to happen that Jiro and Chie go on their "date" and that
she hear about why he actually changed schools. She thought she felt bad before,
bullying him so hard he drops out, but no, she was bullying a soon-to-be orphan.
Chie would probably not be OK leaving Jiro by his lonesome considering what she's
done to him. She doesn't seem to be the type to be driven mad by passion enough to
just drop a guy who might need her for someone else she likes, and even if she was,
how deep in love can she get in the time-frame of the comic?
I think the only way Chie would be fine with leaving Jiro alone is if she becomes
convinced that he doesn't want to be with her.
One situation where that could be the case with almost zero complication (beyond the
potential headache of having to reconstruct the story sans Date 2) is if after the first
date, Jiro doesn't ask Chie out for another. For that to be the case, Jiro'd need a reason
to not wanna go out again with Chie. But what would make him not want that,
especially when Chie's been just lovely thus far? Maybe ... another girl. Maybe ... the MC? More conveniently, a girl the MC can set him up with, but given the limited cast and short time frame? impossible
